In addition to our “proper good food” we have newly refurbished ensuite guest rooms. We currently have two double ensuite rooms with TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities.
Nigel and Caroline have tastefully furnished the rooms to this 250 year old building to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Located in the historic town of Bampton, close to the edge of the Exmoor National Park, Bridge House is a great place to relax and unwind.
For our breakfasts we use local quality produce and homemade bread and preserves which can be enjoyed in the front parlour with the wood burner lit in the cooler months.

Located on the edge of the picturesque North Devon town of Bampton, Manor Mill Cottages offer a peaceful yet convenient self-catering retreat in this beautiful conservation area. Set in grounds over-looking fields and rolling hills, the cottages are within walking distance of everything you may need, whether self-catering or preferring to eat out.
Mill Cottage has three double bedrooms, with one en-suite and a separate bathroom. Leat Cottage is a one bedroom upside-down cottage, with en-suite. Both cottages are fully fitted and filled with character.
Bampton is ideally located to explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park and the superb scenery of North Devon and Somerset.

You will get a warm welcome at WESTON HOUSE, a spacious and elegant Victorian house in the heart of Bampton. There are three guest rooms, two with ensuite shower rooms and the third, which can be either double or twin, with private bathroom. All are furnished to a high standard: we particularly pride ourselves on the comfort of the beds! Each room has flat screen digital TV/radio/DVD player, and there are excellent (free) wifi connections throughout the house.
Breakfast is served in our Victorian dining room, and the menu includes homemade bread and yoghurt, eggs from the Exe Valley, and other locally sourced ingredients. If you don’t fancy the traditional “full English”, there is scrambled egg with smoked salmon, as well as vegetarian choices. We are happy to cater for special diets, including gluten and/or dairy free: please phone us in advance to let us know what you need.
If you are planning outdoor activities, Weston House provides drying facilities for wet footwear and clothes, as well as secure cycle storage. Maps and tourist guides are available to borrow on request.
Packed lunches are available (please order the night before), and if you want to make an early start, we can provide breakfast at any time from 6:30am.

Handley Farm is set in a beautiful elevated position with stunning views, we are easy to find on the B3227 between Wiveliscombe and Bampton.
We offer self catering and B&B to a very high standard in barn suites separate to the house for complete privacy. We serve B&B breakfast in our 16th century dinning room, using our own eggs and local produce where possible.
The self catering barn has lovely views, sleeps 6, has a hot tub on the decking area, and is dog friendly.
We are a working farm and have a fishing lake which is just for our guests exclusively and lovely walks all that you are welcome to enjoy.

Wonham Oak Eco Cottages
Wonham Oak has two beautifully renovated, modern, spacious, private and well-equipped cottages with their own self contained gardens.
Situated just two miles from the historic town of Bampton, which offers everything you might need in the way of supplies, we are on the doorstep of Exmoor and the beautiful beaches of North Devon are within an hour's drive.
The cottages are just on the edge of our woodland and guests are welcome to walk anywhere within the grounds – dogs are very welcome. They have under floor heating in the winter heated by our biomass boiler and both have wood burners. In the summer the hot water is provided by solar panels.
Both cottages are suited to one or two people and are available on a self-catering basis. A travel cot and high chair are also available.

There are two large living rooms, newly appointed kitchen, a double bedroom with ensuite shower, downstairs bedroom with king size bed and shower room opposite, a further single bedroom, family bathroom, and dining room (with extra single bed) and a smaller downstairs bathroom.
The house is perfect for families, or smaller groups, and is within a few yards of all the village shops, but with country walks straight from the village There is a courtyard area just off the kitchen, ideal for a morning coffee or early evening drink. Bampton has independent shops, small supermarkets, and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
One well behaved dog is welcome at no extra charge. Coombe Dene is equipped to a high standard, with modern electric central heating, superfast Wifi, fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Cot and high chair on request. Electricity, towels and linen are provided. On street parking (unrestricted), no smoking in the house, please.
