Bampton's Graves

St Michael & All Angels, Bampton:
Churchyard Burials Listing

The comprehensive survey of all the graves in the churchyard is available in alphabetical order. You can select the appropriate page by clicking on the letters above - they download as PDF files. You can check the location with the churchyard plan below.

Index, Key and Notes:

The list on this web-site gives details of those interred in the churchyard and is the result of many years painstaking work. Whilst some of the gravestones have been easy to read, others are almost indecipherable; much of the information has been gleaned from Parish Records and local knowledge.
Some work is still to be done on existing burials.  Also details of recent graves and internment of ashes will need to be added in as time goes on.

There are a few graves where we have not yet been able to identify who is buried there - they are listed here.

Any queries regarding the Graveyard Information should be addressed to one of the Churchwardens:

Anthony Mount 01398 331527 or Sue Leach 01398 332162
