Landscape and Garden painting holidays with artist Catherine Stott

Now in its 8th year, Inspired Painting Holidays attracts visitors to Bampton from throughout the UK and across the world.

Fully residential 4 or 6 day Painting holidays courses are based in the artist's studio in Bampton, Devon at Weston House which also has AA 4 star accommodation. Courses include landscape painting, gardens and flowers in watercolour, pastel and other paint media. The holidays include painting visits to wonderful English gardens in Devon and Somerset or to some of the beautiful scenery of the area.
Non- residential courses include Inspired Painting Days in spring and summer- full day workshops at the studio with lunch and refreshments provided, and short Afternoon Courses in autumn and spring terms.

Your experienced tutor is Catherine Stott, painter, printmaker and mosaicist, who is also a keen gardener, and has exhibited her vibrant paintings in many UK locations. Bampton is in a beautiful area, on the edge of Exmoor, easily accessible from the M5 and by main line train to Tiverton Parkway.

*We can also organise bespoke courses for small groups of painters on dates outside our advertised programme, concentrating on particular aspects of our local landscape or surroundings, studio work or outdoor sketching.
