Bampton Plants & Gardens Soc.

At their AGM in September 2021, sadly the members of the society agreed to end the running of this group after about 20 years of visiting numerous gardens.

The current committee stood down after many years service, notably by Wendy Lunel in organising all the trips - she was presented with flowers and some garden vouchers in recognition of the appreciateion for all her hard work and dedication.

It was also felt that in a post-covid world, trips would be excessively expensive for most as well as, for the moment anyway, people would be reluctant to sit in close proximity in a minibus or coach. Numbers coming on the trips had been dwindling before the epidemic took hold.
