Bampton in Devon

CoronavirusCoronovirus (COVID-19)

Bampton information

This temporary page is designed to help anybody in Bampton with information of where to get help and which local businesses are able to deliver to those of us who are self-isolating. We shall not be duplicating the plethora of info about the virus itself. We live in worrying times.

Please get in contact with me via email on front page or via Facebook with any info which you think might help people. I will add stuff and update as info received.

FROM THE COUNCIL:

Bampton Town Council is coordinating a team of community street wardens to help everyone during this time of social distancing. These wardens are happy to facilitate those on their “patch” to help with shopping, urgent supplies and medicines, post and phone calls. We are all part of the same “community of circumstance” and in helping each other, we can create safe, social bonds that may minimise loneliness and fear.

You may need some help yourself, or you may wish to help. If you would like to be involved, please email “clerk@bamptontowncouncil.gov.uk” OR: Ring Barney and Esme Hopkinson on 01398 331611. If you are already involved in a similar community scheme, please let us know so that we can all work together. Please continue to check the Bampton Town Council noticeboards or Facebook page for current situations regarding meetings.

# IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO NEEDS HELP FROM THE WARDENS - please ring Barney or email bamptonstreetwardens@gmail.com #
