Bampton in Bloom: Open Gardens

"The Secret Gardens of Bampton" is a must for all those who enjoy plants and gardens. Most years, we have had a group of private gardens open to the public for one weekend in the summer.

There is a big variety of styles to see, large and small, with a number of beautiful gardens tucked away behind shops. You will also find refeshments and a plant stall. Some of the gardens are new each year, and there are changes in more familiar ones, so there are plenty of new things to see.

Here is a slide show of "pick of the bunch" of Bampton gardens since 2004:

"A garden must always have some little treasure to be shared with visitors". - Lady Daphne Heald, Chairman of the National Gardens Scheme 1951-1979, Vice President from 1979-2004)
