Badger Watch

This takes place at Stoodleigh in the Exe valley, just four and a half miles from Bampton. It is available in evenings Mon. - Sat. from April to October.

 

Adults: £11 Children (7-15): £8 (not suitable for children under 7)

 

From the very edge of their natural sett, you can observe the antics of these secretive and fascinating animals, fully illuminated from above and from a purpose-built hide. You may also see squirrels, woodpeckers, jays, nuthatches, and pheasants.

It is now possible for amateur photographers to shoot pictures of the badgers in their natural habitat on special Photography Evenings (£30 per person).

 

Places are limited, so booking is essential - details will be displayed here in season. This activity is unsuitable for those aged under 8 years.
