LARCThe new LARC is used for wide-ranging events as well as the traditional library books. There are computers and printing facilities and the building is open from Monday to Friday, 10am – 3pm. The Library is open additionally on Monday afternoon and Saturday morning.

Corona Virus Restrictions: The Library is open as usual to take out and return books, but with certain restrictions. please follow the librarian's advice.


The LARC will open for computer use and photocopying only on Wednesday mornings, 10am - 12 noon, starting on October 7th. There is a limit of 3 people at any one time with safeguards in place, please follow the guidance of the volunteer on duty. We hope to increase our opening hours in the future as government restrictions allow.


The Annual General Meeting (October 5th) of the LARC will be held via email, as we are not allowed to meet in any significant numbers. The LARC is available for hire for UP TO 6 PEOPLE for committee meetings and offers a warm and comfortable space with wi-fi acces, projector, small kitchen and disabled

The interior is comfortably furnished, has compter access, and houses the Library.
